eyeBuy is a MOBILE VISUAL search application for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS that searches google Products for the lowest price on the web. Simply put, snap a picture of an item, and a few seconds later youll have a list of the lowest prices for that product listed on the web.

eyeBuy can be integrated with Occipitals RedLaser technology to read UPC and EAN-13 barcodes to return exact product recognition.
Scanning TIPS:
1. Try to fill the object that you are scanning in as much space as possible. Use the + marks as corner markers.
2. Scan the object as straight as possible although there is some degree of freedom.
3. Remember, what you search for must be listed as a product in Google Products index to return a result.
What WILL scan:
-Books, CDs, DVDs, Records, Carton items ie., grocery items that come in a box, and other items defined by a recognizable image.
What WONT scan:
-Bicycle wheels, pictures of random bridges, landscapes, things that dont match a specific item in Google Products i.e., how can we tell you how cheap a bridge is?.
What WILL scan after several people scan the same item via Learned recognition:
-Virtually everything : But some examples include computer peripherals, fruit such as pears, apples and oranges, and much more.
